1. The Service

The Service helps users discover small businesses, post and respond to service requests, and participate in referrals and introductions. Features may change over time. We may suspend or discontinue parts of the Service with reasonable notice where practicable.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. User content and conduct

You may submit content such as profile information, requests, messages, and other materials ("User Content"). You retain any rights you hold in your User Content, but you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute User Content as needed to operate, improve, and promote the Service.

You will not use the Service to violate law; infringe others' rights; transmit malware; harass, defraud, or impersonate others; scrape or overload our systems without permission; or post unlawful, defamatory, hateful, or sexually explicit content involving minors. We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these Terms or harm the Service or other users.

4. Business listings and transactions

Business profiles and referrals are provided by users and third parties. We do not guarantee the accuracy, quality, or outcome of any introduction or transaction. If you hire a business or enter an agreement with another user, that relationship is between you and them; we are not a party to those agreements unless we expressly say otherwise.

5. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, branding, and software, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except as allowed by these Terms or applicable law, you may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without our prior written consent.

6. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

7. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100), IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID US. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; IN THOSE CASES OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

8. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify us and our affiliates, directors, employees, and agents against any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your User Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if we must comply with law, or to protect the Service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnity) will survive termination.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. If a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you (for example by email or an in-product notice). Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes, to the extent permitted by law.

11. General

If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
